DIY Armpit Detox

You did it. You finally made the switch to natural deodorant and it's... well, not going so well. There is nothing quite and frustrating and disheartening as making a great choice for you and your body and having go poorly.

Now, before you go running back to traditional deodorant, there's something you should know: years and year of traditional deodorant and anti-perspirant use can change your body's pH to not be receptive to non-toxic deodorants. With a simple, two-ingredient, DIY and about 20-minutes you can start reversing years or toxic buildup.

2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar - available at your local drug or grocery store

2 Tablespoons Bentonite Clay - available on amazon

Mix ingredients together in glass bowl with non-metallic utensil or fingers. (If in contact with metal, healing clays like bentonite lose their effectiveness.)

Apply liberally to armpits (this recipe should be one use - two pits) with fingers or brush and leave on for 5-20 minutes.

This armpit mask can be used as needed during the transition period, as well as, to detox as noticed!
