3 Tricks You Should Know if You Use Dry Shampoo

If you are anything like us, dry shampoo ranks as a necessity in your life somewhere around air, water, and naps. That said, let us blow your mind with some tricks that will make it work even better... so well you can definitely put of washing your hair at least another day.

1. No Touching!

You've sprinkled it on your roots NOW PAUSE. Give your dry shampoo an extra 5 to 10 minutes to really absorb into your hair before massaging it into your roots and combing it through you hair. Use this waiting time to feel really proud of your positive environmental impact for not using the water to wash your hair daily, psh and people call dry shampoo lazy.

2. Choose The Right Color

If you are a dark or red-haired lady and you've never been introduced to appropriately colored dry shampoo, welcome to your roots not getting strangely lighter between washes. Really what is the height of luxury if not dry shampoo not dulling out your gorgeous roots?! While not every brand has a variety of colors, we're pretty obsessed with Bari Naturals, an amazing all natural company from Asheville, North Carolina that's vegan, paraben free, sulfate free, camper approved AND used 100% biodegradable packaging.

3. Hangout at Night Too ;)

A good standard for dry shampoo is to use it before you really need it. By dry shampooing your roots before bed, it has all night to absorb your hair's excess oils. Bonus: even if you overuse product, dull, powdery spots will wear off while you sleep. Once morning hits? Brush your hair or massage your roots for a few minutes. Bam. Amazingly fresh, oil-controlled hair just in need of minor touchups. Did your morning routine just get easier? Your welcome.
